As the year comes to a close and a new one sits heavily upon the horizon, travelers turn their sights toward a new fleet of places to visit. It all depends on what you’re looking for; is it a cozy escape filled with history and rolling green hills? A beachside haven that lets you go off the grid for a while? From metropolitan cities to exotic villages, here are a few a destinations you should consider in 2018.

1. Seville, Spain

Seville in the summer is possibly one of the most beautiful things you will see in your life. From the Plaza de Espana to La Giralda clock tower, the capital of Andalucia is teeming with vibrant culture, gorgeous architecture, historical landmarks, and a nightlife that will keep you out well into the following morning. 2. Lisbon, Portugal

Be it a weekend getaway or a full-fledged vacation, the city of Lisbon does not disappoint. 7. Auckland, New Zealand
