Professional Image Consultant - "Be so good they can't ignore you!"

Anyone who is working on achieving a dream, knows it take an extreme amount of confidence to do so.  But how do you get that extreme confidence?  Here, I share some of my suggestions for gaining the kind of confidence you need to catapult you to the next level.

Dress Sharp

as the saying goes, look good, feel good.  And I am a big believer in this.  If you want to have amazing confidence, you need to “look” the part. That goes from your head to your toes.  Make sure you have a good haircut, take care of your skin (that goes for men too), make sure your clothes fit properly and are in condition, if not, toss them.

Exercise

whether you hit the gym or take yoga classes, taking care of your body helps you gain confidence.  When your body is strong, you think better, clearer.  And of course, when you feel good about your body, that boosts your confidence as well.

Take a Public Speaking Course

a few years ago I took a Dale Carnegie class and it changed my life.  In the class, we were taught the “right” way to do public speaking.  We only had ten people in our class, but that was enough to get over the fear of speaking in front of people.  I highly advise everyone to do it.  You get a tremendous amount of confidence speaking in front of a crowd.

Surround yourself with positive, forward thinking people!

Find the people who are going after their dreams too!  When you surround yourself with the right people, you inspire each other, support each other, and push each other to the next level of greatness (and that’s what you should be shooting for and nothing less).

Smile 😊 yes, it is a scientific fact that the sheer act of smiling helps you feel better and gain confidence!
