Currently 75% of marketers are using influencer marketing in their marketing mix and, according to a study by Tomoson, 59% of marketing professionals plan to increase influencer budgets in the next 12 months.

We know luxury brands have historically approached social media with caution, but now also them are starting to believe that this form of marketing can positively impact how people feel about a brand and are sure that the use of digital influencers will increase not only brand awareness but also support set KPI’s. In fact, new generations do not trust traditional communications, for example fewer than 3% trust TV news, magazines and books, compared to 33% who rely mostly on blogs to guide their purchasing decisions.

So, influencer marketing is obviously an opportunity but it’s important to understand, choose and work with the right talent to make current and future clients engage with the brand.
