Jules is an LA influencer, mainly posting on travel and lifestyle (and folks, let me tell you, if you like travelling you would fall in love with her account!). You can follow her by reading Jule´s blog and you can get a glimpse of what she thinks & believes by checking her 7Q interview out!
1 – How would you define an ‘influencer’?
I think an influencer is someone who has captivated their audience in a meaningful way.
2 – What do you feel is most important to your community?
I think it’s especially important to be authentic and your true self. Social Media has made it exceptionally easy to convey an identity of your choosing… However, I feel that in order to be the most impactful long-term you NEED to be yourself. Your followers will know when you’re being genuine… and keeping up with an image that isn’t you would have to be utterly exhausting!
3 . Which is your most iconic pic on Instagram? Why?
One of my personal favorite photos that has been re-posted a number of times – is the one where I’m walking in the rice fields in Bali. I think Bali is one of those iconic, magical places – and the essence of travel was captured in this one shot!
4 – What is your favorite quote?
This is a tough one because I’m such a quote junkie. I find myself re-reading two a lot lately…
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” – Maya Angelou
“ If you always put a limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.” – Bruce Lee
5 – What are you utterly obsessed with?
Traveling – I’m undoubtedly an addict… & also anything with chocolate!
6 – What is for you authenticity?
Authenticity is… when your actions are congruent with your inner self. What we choose to reveal to the world has to match our inner motives!
7 – Why is it important to partner with brands/products that fit you and your follower’s needs?
I think it’s so important to be cognizant of who your audience is. They’re smart… and will catch on to whether or not your partnerships are a good fit. For instance, I have a huge focus on wellness – and therefore, it wouldn’t make sense to collaborate with a Soda company. My audience would unquestionably see through this!
